The role
Goodwin Procter is seeking a mid-level associate for its Debt Finance group. The role is for lawyers with specific experience representing private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders in leveraged buyout and acquisition financings, and will involve drafting and negotiating core finance documents.

- Draft and negotiate commitment papers
- Draft and negotiate credit agreements
- Draft and negotiate collateral documents
What we're looking for
Outstanding academic credentials
Comparable law firm experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience drafting and negotiating commitment papers, credit agreements and collateral documents
Experience representing private equity sponsors and/or banks and private credit lenders in connection with term and revolving loan facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings and corporate growth
Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) required
