Private Equity Debt Finance - Mid-Level Associate at Goodwin

The role

Goodwin Procter is seeking a mid-level associate to join their Debt Finance group. The role is for candidates with experience representing private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders in leveraged buyout and acquisition financings. Candidates should have strong academic backgrounds and comparable law firm experience.

What you'll do

Draft and negotiate commitment papers, credit agreements and collateral documents
Represent private equity sponsors and/or banks and private credit lenders in connection with term and revolving loan facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings and corporate growth

What we're looking for

Outstanding academic credentials

Comparable law firm experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience drafting and negotiating commitment papers, credit agreements and collateral documents

Experience representing private equity sponsors and/or banks and private credit lenders in connection with term and revolving loan facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings and corporate growth

Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) required
