The role
The Baltimore office is seeking a mid-to-senior level associate with three to five years of relevant experience to join its Corporate & Finance team. The successful candidate will have excellent law firm training and substantial experience advising on complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, strategic alliances, and joint ventures.
What you'll do
- Advise on complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions
- Advise on strategic alliances
- Advise on joint ventures
- Manage multiple workstreams
- Collaborate effectively with sophisticated client management teams
- Mentor junior associates
- Supervise junior associates
What we're looking for
Three to five years of relevant experience
Excellent law firm training
Substantial experience advising on complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, strategic alliances and joint ventures
Excellent drafting and negotiating skills
Ability to manage multiple workstreams
Ability to collaborate effectively with sophisticated client management teams
A strong interest in challenging, high-profile transactional work
A strong desire and ability to work in a collegial, team-oriented environment
Demonstrated commitment to mentoring and supervising junior associates
A law degree from an ABA-accredited law school
A member of the Bar in the United States
Experience advising on corporate governance matters· nice to have
Familiarity with securities issuances or private equity financings· nice to have
