The role
Munger, Tolles & Olson seeks a Financial Restructuring Attorney with 1-5 years of experience for its Los Angeles office. This role will focus on complex restructuring and insolvency cases, offering attorneys primary, front-line responsibility and significant client contact.
What you'll do
- Work on complex bankruptcy cases
- Handle the purchase of assets out of bankruptcy
- Restructure companies
- Represent key constituents
- Handle bankruptcy-related litigation
What we're looking for
Attorneys with 1 - 5 years of experience
Outstanding academic achievement including excellent law school record
Strong references
Proven litigation and writing skills
Candidates ranked high in their class at top tier law schools
A J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
Admission to CA Bar
Familiarity with bankruptcy law and related issues
Prior experience with complex reorganization cases
Experience with securities laws· nice to have
Experience with commercial laws· nice to have
