The role
Munger, Tolles & Olson is seeking a 2026 Employment Litigation & Counseling Attorney with 1-4 years of experience for its San Francisco office. This role will focus primarily on employment litigation and associated counseling, defending national corporations in various employment-related disputes.
What you'll do
- Defend national corporations in litigation, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage and hour suits
- Conduct sensitive internal investigations involving high risk allegations
- Provide sophisticated advice and counseling in addition to litigation handling
- Gain client contact and opportunities to run cases
What we're looking for
1-4 years of experience with employment litigation and advice and counseling
Outstanding achievement including excellent law school record and strong references
Proven litigation and writing skills
Ranked high in class at top tier law schools
J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
Admission to CA Bar
Class action and/or PAGA experience· nice to have
Familiarity with California civil procedure· nice to have
Experience with employment counseling (including policy construction, employee discipline/termination, and wage/hour counseling)· nice to have
