The role
Munger, Tolles & Olson seeks a 2026 Employment Litigation & Counseling Attorney in Los Angeles with 1-4 years of experience. This role will focus primarily on employment litigation and associated counseling for national corporations, offering significant client contact and opportunities to run cases.
What you'll do
- Defend class, collective, and representative actions
- Handle claims of discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination
- Address retaliation and whistleblower claims
- Manage disputes regarding pay equity and executive compensation
- Conduct sensitive internal investigations involving high risk allegations
- Provide sophisticated advice and counseling
- Engage in litigation and associated counseling
- Travel for hearings and depositions as needed
What we're looking for
1-4 years of experience with employment litigation and advice and counseling
Excellent law school record
Strong references
Proven litigation and writing skills
Ranked high in class at top tier law schools
J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
Admission to CA Bar Required
Familiarity and experience with employment litigation (including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination suits) and wage and hour litigation
Familiarity with California civil procedure
Class action and/or PAGA experience· nice to have
Familiarity and experience with employment counseling· nice to have
