The role
Jones Day's Atlanta office is seeking a Tax Controversy & Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of experience. This role is for an attorney with a strong background in tax and demonstrated interest or experience in litigation, focusing on complex federal and state tax disputes.
What you'll do
- Work on sophisticated federal and state tax disputes, including large corporate matters, valuation disputes, and transfer pricing disputes
- Assist other departments of the firm with regards to tax implications of transactional and litigation matters
What we're looking for
3-5 years of experience
Strong background in tax
Demonstrated interest or experience in litigation
Technical tax knowledge
Strong advocacy skills
Desire to litigate complex, high stakes tax disputes
