Mergers & Acquisitions Associate Attorney (Mid-Level)
Key requirements
2 – 4 years of significant experience in mergers + acquisitions and other strategic transactions Experience in handling domestic and cross-border transactions, on both the buy and sell-side Solid understanding of complex structural and corporate issues pertaining to acquisitions, divestitures, strategic alliances, spin-offs, carve-outs, leveraged buyouts, recapitalization, and tender offers Ability to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form
The role
This role is for an ambitious attorney with 2-4 years of significant mergers and acquisitions experience to join Morrison Foerster's Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group. The position focuses on handling complex domestic and cross-border transactions for a variety of high-profile clients.
What we're looking for
2 – 4 years of significant experience in mergers + acquisitions and other strategic transactions
Experience in handling domestic and cross-border transactions, on both the buy and sell-side
Solid understanding of complex structural and corporate issues pertaining to acquisitions, divestitures, strategic alliances, spin-offs, carve-outs, leveraged buyouts, recapitalization, and tender offers
Ability to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form
Outstanding research and analytical skills
Excellent business and legal problem-solving skills
Commitment to delivering excellent client service in a team environment
Strong work ethic
Excellent leadership skills
Action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility
Admitted to the state bar in which you are practicing or are eligible to waive in
