Finance (Banking) Associate Attorney (Mid-Level)
Key requirements
3-6 years of law firm experience Experience primarily representing banks, other institutional lenders and borrowers in secured lending transactions Demonstrated experience with leveraged finance Skilled in drafting, editing, and reviewing loan documents, including loan agreements, security documentation, intercreditor agreements, commitment papers and closing documentation
The role
This role is for an ambitious attorney with 3-6 years of law firm experience, primarily representing banks, institutional lenders, and borrowers in secured lending transactions within the Finance Practice Group. The position offers the opportunity to work on complex, fast-paced financing transactions and is supported by hiring partner Dario Avram.
What you'll do
- Draft, edit, and review loan documents including loan agreements, security documentation, intercreditor agreements, commitment papers and closing documentation
What we're looking for
3-6 years of law firm experience
Experience primarily representing banks, other institutional lenders and borrowers in secured lending transactions
Demonstrated experience with leveraged finance
Skilled in drafting, editing, and reviewing loan documents, including loan agreements, security documentation, intercreditor agreements, commitment papers and closing documentation
Proactive with a strong business sense and ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships
Ability to communicate complex matters clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Committed to delivering excellent client service
Strong work ethic
Team player attitude
Action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for transactions
High initiative
Strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrable client relationship skills
Admitted to the state bar in which you are practicing or eligible to waive in
Specific experience in leveraged lending, syndicated lending and sponsor finance· nice to have
Other commercial lending experience will be considered· nice to have
