The role
WilmerHale's Corporate practice is seeking associates with 4-5 years of post-JD experience for positions in Boston or New York. The role will focus on advising public companies in SEC representation and capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and advising companies through growth stages.
What you'll do
- Advise public companies in ongoing SEC representation and capital markets transactions
- Advise companies through all stages of growth including business formation and equity financings
- Manage teams on transactions
- Train and mentor junior associates
What we're looking for
Four to five years of post-JD experience
Experience advising public companies in ongoing SEC representation and capital markets transactions
Experience in mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, auctions, and carve-out transactions
Experience advising companies through all stages of growth including business formation and equity financings
Strong drafting and negotiation skills including managing teams on transactions
Demonstrated experience training and mentoring junior associates
Juris Doctor degree
Licensed to practice law and a member in good standing in the state/jurisdiction in which the position is based
Strong analytical skills
Willingness to positively contribute to a collaborative work environment
