The role
WilmerHale's Corporate practice is seeking associates with 4-5 years of post-JD experience for positions in Boston or New York. The role involves advising public companies on SEC representation and capital markets transactions, guiding companies through growth stages, and managing teams on mergers, acquisitions, and financings.
What you'll do
- Advise public companies in ongoing SEC representation and capital markets transactions
- Handle mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, auctions, and carve-out transactions
- Advise companies through all stages of growth including business formation and equity financings
- Manage teams on transactions
- Train and mentor junior associates
What we're looking for
Four to five years of post-JD experience
Experience advising public companies in ongoing SEC representation and capital markets transactions
Experience in mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, auctions, and carve-out transactions
Experience advising companies through all stages of growth including business formation and equity financings
Strong drafting and negotiation skills
Experience managing teams on transactions
Demonstrated experience training and mentoring junior associates
Juris Doctor
Licensed to practice law and a member in good standing in the state/jurisdiction in which the position is based
Strong analytical skills
Willingness to positively contribute to a collaborative work environment
