The role
Cooley LLP seeks attorneys with 3-7 PQE in mergers and acquisitions to join their team. Ideal candidates will possess strong M&A skills, including drafting, negotiation, deal management, client relationship handling, and supervision of junior associates.
What you'll do
- Draft and negotiate definitive and ancillary documents
- Manage deal process and client relationships
- Supervise junior associates
- Handle day-to-day demands and work flow requirements on a variety of M&A related matters
What we're looking for
3-7 years of experience with mergers and acquisitions
Strong M&A skills
Experience with drafting and negotiating definitive and ancillary documents
Experience managing deal process and client relationships
Experience supervising junior associates
Experience handling day-to-day demands and work flow requirements on a variety of M&A related matters
High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school required
