IP Litigation (Life Sciences/ANDA): 2nd-6th year

The role
This role is for a Patent Litigation Associate with 2-6 years of PQE, focusing on life sciences patent litigation. The ideal candidate will have experience in U.S. District Courts and before the PTAB, possess strong client interaction skills, and contribute to case strategy.
What you'll do
- Participate in underlying case analyses
- Conduct factual and legal research
- Draft pleadings
- Participate in discovery on infringement, validity, and damages issues
- Conduct depositions
- Conduct expert discovery
- Research and draft dispositive and discovery motions
- Draft claim construction briefing
- Participate in pre-trial activities
- Participate in trial activities
- Stand up in court
- Take a deposition
- Speak directly with clients
- Speak directly with opposing counsel
- Think creatively
- Work on a team
- Actively participate in the strategic development of the case
What we're looking for
2-6 years of significant patent litigation experience in U.S. District Courts and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board
Experience in post-grant proceedings
Experience with underlying case analyses
Experience conducting factual and legal research
Experience drafting pleadings
Experience participating in discovery on infringement, validity, and damages issues
Experience with depositions and expert discovery
Experience researching and drafting dispositive and discovery motions
Experience with claim construction briefing
Experience participating in pre-trial and trial activities
Undergraduate or master’s degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or other life sciences discipline
Excellent writing skills
Experience working within the Intellectual Property department of a comparable law firm· nice to have
A high level of academic achievement from a law school institution· nice to have
