Real Estate Attorney: 2nd-5th year at Cooley

The role

The Real Estate practice group is seeking associates with 2-5 years of PQE to join their Reston office. This role is for experienced real estate lawyers who have handled a broad range of transactions for sophisticated clients and ideally have experience with data center deals.

What you'll do

Review title
Document real estate secured loans, leases, acquisitions and dispositions
Negotiate real estate secured loans, leases, acquisitions and dispositions
Close real estate secured loans, leases, acquisitions and dispositions

What we're looking for

2-5 years of experience at a comparable law firm

Experience with a broad range of real estate transactions for sophisticated clients

Experience with data center deals (leasing, colocation agreements, acquisitions, dispositions, diligence, etc.)

Experience reviewing title

Experience documenting, negotiating and closing real estate secured loans, leases, acquisitions and dispositions

A JD or the equivalent

Demonstrated high academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Superior writing skills

A high level of attention to detail
