The role
Cooley is seeking a 3rd-6th year associate with at least three years of experience advising early-stage and growth-stage companies on general corporate matters, venture capital financings, and liquidity events. This role is for candidates who have worked in the corporate department of a national or international law firm and will support the elite private companies team in Washington, DC or Reston, Virginia.

What we're looking for
3-6 years of experience
At least three years of experience involving early-stage and growth-stage companies
Deep experience counseling and advising venture-backed companies on general corporate matters through their growth cycle, including venture capital financings and liquidity events
Experience working in the corporate department of a national or international law firm
High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school
