The role

Ropes & Gray is seeking a transactional or funds attorney with 2-10 years of experience to join its Alternative Asset Opportunities practice group. This role will focus on advising sovereign wealth funds and other large investors on complex global transactions, including secondary transactions, joint ventures, and fund investments.

What you'll do

• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents related to complex transactions across asset classes, including private equity, credit, real estate, venture capital, and infrastructure
• Advise on deal structuring, governance arrangements, and regulatory considerations across global transactions
• Prepare and review transaction agreements, limited partnership agreements, subscription documents, side letters, and related documentation
• Collaborate with colleagues across Ropes & Gray's cross-disciplinary transactional, tax, finance and regulatory teams, to deliver integrated client solutions
• Manage multiple concurrent transactions from term sheet through closing
