The role

Ropes & Gray is seeking a transactional or funds Attorney to join its Alternative Asset Opportunities practice group. This role is for attorneys with two to ten years of transactional or fund experience at a major law firm, focusing on advising sovereign wealth funds and other large investors on complex global transactions, including secondary transactions, joint ventures, and co-investments.

What you'll do

• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents related to complex transactions across asset classes
• Advise on deal structuring, governance arrangements, and regulatory considerations across global transactions
• Prepare and review transaction agreements, limited partnership agreements, subscription documents, side letters, and related documentation
• Collaborate with colleagues across Ropes & Gray's cross-disciplinary transactional, tax, finance and regulatory teams
• Manage multiple concurrent transactions from term sheet through closing
