The role

The Real Estate Investments and Transactions Group in the New York office is seeking an attorney with 3-5 years of PQE. The role focuses on commercial real estate transactional matters, including joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions, and real estate finance, for clients such as private equity funds and REITs.

What you'll do

Draft, review and negotiate joint venture agreements
Draft, review and negotiate purchase and sale agreements
Draft, review and negotiate loan agreements and other financing documents
Draft, review and negotiate ancillary agreements
Coordinate and oversee real estate due diligence projects
Interact with clients
Stay apprised of industry trends

What we're looking for

3-5 years of experience at a large law firm

Experience focusing on commercial real estate transactional matters including joint ventures and co-investments, complex acquisitions and dispositions of real estate assets, debt and equity and real estate finance

Detail oriented

Excellent writing skills

Excellent time management skills

Excellent academic credentials

J.D. degree from an accredited law school

Admission to practice in the state of New York or eligibility to obtain admission promptly

Demonstrated experience using AI technologies responsibly and ethically in legal practice· nice to have
