The role
Sullivan & Cromwell is seeking experienced associates for its Capital Markets group within the General Practice (corporate) department. The role is for lawyers with at least two years of PQE, focusing on complex securities offerings, equity and debt issuances, IPOs, and ESG-related disclosure matters.
What you'll do
- Counsel clients on corporate governance
- Advise on evolving disclosure matters such as ESG-related disclosure issues
- Counsel corporates and sovereign entities on novel capital markets transactions
- Advise on sustainability and green bond offerings
- Develop optimal strategies for equity raises, debt issuances, hybrid offerings, and IPOs
What we're looking for
At least two years of experience working in the corporate group at a law firm
Experience with a significant Capital Markets practice
Not a current law student
