The role
Latham & Watkins is seeking an Associate for their Tax practice group, focusing on Energy & Infrastructure. This role is for lawyers with 2+ years of PQE and is available in New York, Houston, or Washington D.C.
What we're looking for
Minimum of 2 years of experience
Experience with financings and M&A pertaining to power and energy transition transactions
Substantive experience with energy tax credit transactions
Experience documenting and negotiating complex joint ventures
Experience with tax equity transactions
Experience with tax credit transfers
Familiarity with partnership tax rules
Experience drafting and negotiating tax provisions in partnership agreements
Experience drafting and negotiating tax provisions in credit agreements
Experience drafting and negotiating tax provisions in purchase and sale documentation
