The role
Skadden's London office is seeking a newly qualified lawyer for its Investment Management Group, focusing on advising sponsors, investors, and strategic parties on private fund formation and related investment management matters. This role is for an ambitious individual to work on sophisticated transactions alongside a market-leading team.
What you'll do
- Advise sponsors, fund managers, and institutional investors on the structuring and formation of private funds, including private equity, private equity real estate, credit, and infrastructure funds
- Assist with the drafting and negotiation of fund documentation, including limited partnership agreements, private placement memoranda, side letters, and subscription agreements
- Support on regulatory and compliance matters related to investment management activities
- Manage work streams and contribute to client relationship management under the supervision of senior lawyers
- Collaborate across practice groups and offices on multijurisdictional fund transactions
What we're looking for
