The role
Sidley Austin LLP is seeking associates with at least three years of PQE in leveraged finance transactions, including acquisition financings and refinancings, to join its Global Finance Group. This role is ideal for candidates with experience representing borrowers or lead arrangers, particularly those with a strong background in sponsor finance/LBO finance.
What you'll do
- Draft and negotiate transaction documents
- Lead financing transactions primarily on behalf of borrower and lead arranger clients
What we're looking for
At least three years of experience with syndicated lending and/or private credit/direct lending
Experience representing either borrowers or lead arrangers
Admission or eligibility for admission to the bar in the state for the office to which they are applying
Strong experience with sponsor finance/LBO finance· nice to have
