The role
Sidley Austin LLP's New York office is seeking associates with at least three years of experience in asset-based lending for its Global Finance Group. This role will focus on warehouse lending and asset-based financing transactions, representing both borrowers and lenders.
What you'll do
- Draft or review transaction documents for asset based financings, including flow purchase agreements, loan and security agreements, servicing agreements, governing documents for SPV issuer and related legal opinions
- Generally lead asset based warehouse financing transactions on behalf of borrower and lender clients
What we're looking for
At least three years of experience with asset-based lending transactions, representing borrowers or lenders
Familiarity with the acquisition and financing of consumer loans, mortgages, portfolios of single family homes and/or interests in private funds
Admitted or eligible for admission to the New York bar
