The role
Sidley Austin LLP's New York office is seeking associates with at least four years of PQE to join its M&A and Private Equity Group. This role focuses on significant public and private transactions for public companies and other corporates.
What you'll do
- Draft and negotiate merger agreements
- Draft and negotiate purchase agreements
- Draft and negotiate complex joint ventures
- Prepare certain public company filings related to such transactions (8-Ks, Merger Proxies)
- Supervise junior associates
- Train junior associates
- Mentor junior associates
What we're looking for
At least four years of experience
Meaningful experience working on significant public and private transactions for public companies and other corporates
Admitted to practice in New York
