The role
Sidley Austin LLP is seeking associates for its Global Finance Group with at least three years of PQE in syndicated lending and/or private credit/direct lending. This role will focus on leveraged finance transactions, representing borrowers or lead arrangers, with a preference for strong experience in sponsor finance/LBO finance.
What you'll do
- Draft and negotiate transaction documents
- Generally lead financing transactions primarily on behalf of borrower and lead arranger clients
What we're looking for
At least three years of experience with syndicated lending and/or private credit/direct lending representing either borrowers or lead arrangers
Admitted or eligible for admission to the Washington DC bar
Strong experience with sponsor finance/LBO finance· nice to have
