Capital Markets Associate (1 – 2 PQE)
Key requirements
1-2 years of PQE Experience on equity capital markets transactions Experience with UK / European and US aspects of transactions with a US angle Ability to develop experience and expertise on debt (investment grade and high yield) as well as equity transactions
The role
This role is for an associate with 1-2 years of PQE and experience in equity capital markets transactions. The role sits within Cleary's London capital markets practice, which handles both UK/European and US securities laws and offers exposure to a broad range of equity and debt capital markets transactions.
What you'll do
- Work on UK / European and US aspects of transactions with a US angle (either SEC-registered or with a 144A tranche)
- Develop experience and expertise on debt (investment grade and high yield) as well as equity transactions
- Work closely with US and UK capital markets partners in a close-knit team
What we're looking for
1-2 years of PQE
Experience on equity capital markets transactions
Experience with UK / European and US aspects of transactions with a US angle
Ability to develop experience and expertise on debt (investment grade and high yield) as well as equity transactions
Experience in US terminology as a 2nd or 3rd year associate· nice to have
