The role

Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld is seeking a Structured Finance Associate with 4-5 years of experience to join its Asset-Based Finance and Securitization Practice in New York. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the growth of the practice and the Capital Solutions team, working on complex asset-based transactions and financings.

What you'll do

Draft transaction documents
Manage transactions

What we're looking for

Admitted to, and in good standing with, the bar of the state in which they intend to practice

Substantive experience with structured finance, securitization and/or asset-based structured finance

Prior experience as a key member of deal teams, including responsibility for document drafting and transaction management

Must be available to work in person

Experience with ABS, CLOs, CFOs and/or rated facilities is preferred· nice to have

Exposure to fund finance, special situation financings, out-of-court and in-court restructurings and/or private credit transactions is helpful· nice to have

Benefits

Base salary range for this position in New York City is $225,000 to $445,000
