The role
A 0-3 PQE Solicitor is sought for a busy real estate team in Leeds, focusing on telecoms litigation. The role involves advising clients on lease disputes, possession, and arrears recovery, with potential for a supervisory role.
What you'll do
- Serve statutory notices and advise on their validity and conditionality
- Deal with contentious lease renewals, termination notices and proceedings
- Interpret and enforce lease obligations
- Handle arrears recovery and tenant insolvency
- Obtain possession of commercial premises
- Deal with service charge disputes
- Act in dilapidations matters including service of notices and advisory work
- Support marketing and business development activity within the team including article writing, attending marketing events and client training
What we're looking for
A 0-3 PQE Solicitor
A strong educational background
Experience in commercial and civil litigation
Ability to deliver commercial advice to clients
Comfortable with key date and tracker maintenance
Ability to handle a varied workload in accordance with client protocols and with an appropriate level of supervision
Experience in commercial landlord and tenant disputes· nice to have
Experience with the use of client portals and case management software· nice to have
Telecommunications experience acting either for landowners or operators· nice to have
