Associate - Professional Discipline and Regulatory - Manchester

The role

We are seeking a regulatory solicitor with 3-5 PQE to join our Professional Discipline and Regulatory Team. This role will focus on advising clients in the healthcare, social care, and education sectors on complex compliance matters, conducting investigations, and representing clients in high-profile inquests and public inquiries.

What you'll do

• Advise on regulatory compliance in all jurisdictions of the UK in the healthcare, social care and education sectors
• Conduct investigations including professional disciplinary and Safeguarding
• Analyse evidence, interview witnesses and draft statements for investigations
• Prepare reports and advise on regulatory requirements arising from investigations
• Undertake due diligence for the acquisition and disposal of health, social care and education organisations
• Draft reports on due diligence findings
• Advise owners, operators and investors on transactions
• Represent clients in high profile inquests and public inquiries
• Advise clients on Judicial Review challenges and proceedings in the First-Tier Tribunal (Care Standards) and Court of Protection
