The role

A Junior Associate/Associate (NQ-2 PQE) is sought for the Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Regulatory team in Manchester. This role is for a solicitor interested in criminal defence within a corporate environment, focusing on regulatory crime and handling a varied, high-profile caseload.

What you'll do

Be involved in cases from initial investigation through to court proceedings
Handle Corporate manslaughter cases
Handle Health & Safety prosecutions
Handle Environmental crime cases
Handle Fire safety and food safety matters
Handle Motor prosecutions
Provide representation at Coroners’ Court

What we're looking for

0-2 years PQE

Experience or a strong interest in Health & Safety

Experience or a strong interest in Environmental crime

Experience or a strong interest in Motor crime

Experience or a strong interest in Fire safety

Bright, ambitious, and proactive mindset

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment

Strong communication and client-facing skills

Genuine interest in complex legal issues and regulatory crime

Commitment to delivering high-quality client service

Willingness to travel across England & Wales
