Leveraged Finance Managing Associate, 5 years PQE+, London at Addleshaw Goddard

The role

Addleshaw Goddard is seeking a Managing Associate for its active Leveraged Finance practice in London. This role is for experienced lawyers who want to accelerate growth and make an impact within a supportive team, working with partners Alex Dumphy and Ewen Scott on complex transactions for a diverse client roster.

What you'll do

Advise clients on a variety of transactions, with a particular focus on leveraged and acquisition finance
Work on a consistent and balanced deal flow for creditors and debtors on M&A and refinancing transactions within the energy, transport, real estate, healthcare and financial services sectors
Assist with the supervision of junior lawyers' work
Take an active part in sharing knowledge and experience with the team
Take a leading role on transactions

What we're looking for

Qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years PQE experience in leveraged finance and leading on private equity-backed transactions

Experience acting on UK and or European mid-market financings

Familiarity with managing transactions, in particular facility agreements, term sheets, commitment papers and intercreditor arrangements on leveraged finance transactions

Initiative and proactive approach with strong service orientation - a "client first" culture

Ability to work well and collegially in a team

Commerciality and demonstrable business development experience
