Senior/Director – Tax Associate

The role

This role is for a Senior Associate/Director within the Tax practice group, focusing on providing cross-border advice on transactional, advisory, and contentious matters. The role is for experienced lawyers with strong commercial acumen and experience in international tax law, likely gained at a firm in the City of London.

What you'll do

• Advise on international and domestic tax, covering a wide range of M&A and corporate structuring, bank and bond financing, structured debt, leasing, real estate investment and development, funds and other forms of non-bank investment
• Provide bespoke tax advice, usually on highly complex points of law
• Provide tax policy advice to industry bodies and governments
• Work with a broad range of clients and the Firm's other teams and practice areas, not only in London, but across the globe
• Gain exposure to work which often involves complex, high value matters that frequently headline in the financial and business press
• Develop extensive client contact
• Develop new client contacts
• Develop an unbeatable multi-disciplinary skill set
• Develop client facing skills
