The role
The Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice is seeking an associate with at least four years of experience to advise digital health companies on regulatory, data protection, and AI matters. This role will involve counseling clients on complex regulatory frameworks like HIPAA and CCPA/CPRA, as well as AI and healthcare fraud/abuse laws, and supporting them on related transactions. The position is ideal for a proactive lawyer with strong drafting, negotiation, and interpersonal skills who can manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
What you'll do
- Advise clients on data protection/AI
- Advise clients on healthcare regulatory counseling
- Advise clients on transactions related to data protection/AI and healthcare regulatory
What we're looking for
Minimum of four years of experience advising companies operating in the digital health space
Experience with healthcare regulatory
Experience with data protection
Experience with AI-related matters
Experience working with healthcare providers
Experience working with digital health/technology companies
Experience working with other organizations on complex regulatory frameworks
Experience with HIPAA
Experience with CCPA/CPRA
Experience with evolving AI laws
Experience with healthcare fraud and abuse laws
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
Superior verbal and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Ability to pro-actively lead on driving matters forward with minimal supervision
Record of high academic achievement
