The role

We are seeking associates graduating between 2020 and 2023 for our tax practice. This role is for candidates with a strong understanding of tax law, experience in strategic and private equity M&A, capital markets, investment fund formation, and/or real estate matters, and excellent communication and analytical skills.

What you'll do

Conduct research and writing on technical aspects of tax law
Interact directly with clients
Engage in public speaking, including at large national tax conferences

What we're looking for

Law school class years 2020 to 2023

Class-year appropriate understanding of technical aspects of tax law

Research and writing abilities

Experience with strategic and private equity M&A transactions

Experience with capital markets (including spin-offs and IPOs)

Experience with investment fund formation

Experience with real estate (including REIT) matters

Outstanding oral communication skills

Outstanding analytical skills

Top academic credentials

Ability to think creatively about interesting, difficult, and often novel problems

Desire to think creatively about interesting, difficult, and often novel problems

Enthusiasm about interacting directly with clients

Enthusiasm about getting involved with public speaking

Enthusiasm about making the most of in-office time by meeting face-to-face with colleagues
