The role
Latham & Watkins is seeking a qualified associate with a minimum of two years of PQE to join their strategic equity transactions group within the Corporate Department. This role is ideal for an associate seeking intellectually challenging work and deal-related excitement, focusing on cutting-edge equity derivatives and equity-linked financings.
What you'll do
- Work on a wide variety of matters including financing, hedging and monetization transactions
- Work on capital raising transactions
- Work on structured repurchase transactions
- Work on structured acquisition transactions
- Work closely with senior attorneys in the group
What we're looking for
Minimum of two years of experience
Background in capital markets (US securities laws/regulations)
Background in ISDA based derivatives documentation
Background in secured transactions
Background in bankruptcy/restructuring
Derivatives experience· nice to have
