The role
Latham & Watkins is seeking a mid-level associate with 3+ years of experience for their Financial Regulatory and Derivatives practice group in the New York office. This role is for associates in their 3rd to 6th year and will focus on transactional commodities, futures, and derivatives matters, supporting investment managers, financial institutions, and emerging companies.
What you'll do
- Cover Dodd-Frank, CFTC and SEC regulations
- Handle derivatives transactions involving commodities, IRS, FX, and credit derivatives, futures, and FinTech and crypto trading
What we're looking for
Minimum of 3 years of experience
Experience covering a mix of transactional commodities, futures and derivatives matters
Expertise in transactional matters
Ability to expand skill set
