The role

MinterEllison is seeking an Associate for their Energy, Resources and Projects practice in Melbourne. This role is for a lawyer with 3+ years of PQE who will work on complex infrastructure and energy projects alongside partner Peter Block.

What you'll do

Advising on infrastructure projects
Advising on procurement
Advising on project structuring
Advising on development
Advising on financing of large and complex infrastructure and corporate projects
Collaborate with teams across other practice groups

What we're looking for

3+ years' post admission experience gained within a large commercial law firm

Experience in infrastructure, projects or construction matters

Strong communication, technical drafting and problem solving skills

Team player attitude and willingness to work collaboratively across all levels of the team

Demonstrated ability to form enduring relationships with peers, clients and fellow advisers

Resilience and a commitment to provide exceptional levels of service to our local and international client base

A genuine interest in the infrastructure and energy sectors and a desire to build a long-term career in this space
