Associate | Commercial Litigation at MinterEllison

The role

MinterEllison is seeking an Associate with at least 2 years of post-admission experience in commercial litigation to join their Dispute Resolution team in Brisbane. This role involves supporting partners Kathryn Finlayson and Evan Goldman, focusing on high-stakes commercial, regulatory, and competition matters for major corporates, government clients, and industries like energy, resources, health, and infrastructure.

What you'll do

Advise clients in the energy and resources, health and infrastructure industries as well as Queensland Government clients on a range of commercial and regulatory disputes and investigations

What we're looking for

At least 2 years of post-admission experience in commercial litigation and regulatory disputes

Excellent plain English drafting skills

Confidence to advise clients on complex legal and regulatory issues

High level of technical excellence and attention to detail

Strong client service mindset with demonstrated experience building and maintaining trusted client relationships

Ability to work autonomously while thriving in a team based, collaborative environment

Strong commercial mindset

Driven, hard-working and take initiative
