The role

Corrs Chambers Westgarth is seeking a Senior Associate for its Environment & Planning team in Melbourne, Australia. This role is for an experienced lawyer with 5+ years of PQE who will handle a diverse range of environmental and planning matters.

What you'll do

Work across a diverse range of matters including environmental and planning approvals, compliance and regulatory investigations, contamination and remediation, climate related obligations, land access and acquisition, major project delivery and environmental risk management across energy transition, data centre, transport infrastructure and large-scale urban developments

What we're looking for

5+ years of legal expertise

Experience with environmental and planning approvals

Experience with compliance and regulatory investigations

Experience with contamination and remediation

Experience with climate related obligations

Experience with land access and acquisition

Experience with major project delivery

Experience with environmental risk management
