The role
An Associate or Senior Associate position is available in the Corrs Corporate/M&A Team in Sydney, supporting corporate partners Sandy Mak, Adam Foreman, Shabarika Ajitkumar, and Tim Gordon. This role is for a lawyer with 4+ years of experience in corporate law, looking to work on significant transactions for top-tier clients within a collaborative environment.
What you'll do
- Work on public company M&A transactions
- Work on private capital transactions
- Work on equity raisings
- Advise clients and boards on governance and securities laws
- Advise clients and boards on regulatory matters involving FIRB, ASX, ASIC and the Takeovers Panel
What we're looking for
4+ PQE experience in a leading corporate practice
Experience with a national or international firm
Commercially minded
High attention to detail
Strong drafting skills
Strong negotiating skills
Potential/capability to lead a deal· nice to have
Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively· nice to have
