The role
Kirkland & Ellis LLP is seeking associates with 3-6 years of experience to join their market-leading Technology & IP Transactions group in Chicago. The role involves working on a wide range of domestic and international technology and IP-intensive transactions for diverse public and private companies.
What you'll do
- Work on a wide range of transactions, including domestic and international transactions
- Handle matters including mergers and acquisitions, financing, joint ventures, strategic alliances, restructurings, software and systems agreements, outsourcing, R&D agreements, collaboration agreements, licenses (patent, trademark, copyright, and data/databases), and other commercial agreements
