The role
Kirkland & Ellis is seeking an Investment Funds, Regulatory Associate with 2-4 years of experience to join its Investment Funds Group in New York. This role focuses on assisting fund sponsors with fundraising and transactions, navigating regulatory matters, and compliance with relevant laws.
What we're looking for
2-4 years of investment funds-related regulatory experience at a global law firm
Experience reviewing offering materials and fund governing documents
Experience advising clients on compliance with applicable rules and regulations
Experience preparing SEC filings
Experience responding to examinations
Strong familiarity with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 required
Admitted to practice in New York
Familiarity with the Investment Company Act of 1940· nice to have
