The role

The firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Corporate M&A team. This role is for an ambitious lawyer to work on significant corporate and private equity fund deals, acting for public and private sector clients across various industries, and contributing to transaction negotiations and drafting.

What you'll do

Play a leading role in key aspects of transactions
Negotiate transaction documents
Draft transaction documents
Mentor junior lawyers
Providing hands-on guidance and feedback to support their development
Collaborate with other practice groups as part of a multi-disciplinary team

What we're looking for

5+ years' post-qualification experience in Corporate M&A

Demonstrated time in a Senior Associate level role

Solid experience in private M&A transactions gained within a leading commercial law firm

Excellent academic record

A naturally collegiate mindset

The ability to prioritise your time across a number of busy matters

A genuine commitment to client service

A desire to engage in business development activities

Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills

An ambitious and focused determination
