The role
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a lawyer within the Real Estate and Development team at a reputable law firm. The role involves advising clients on complex transactions across various sectors, including commercial development, acquisitions, disposals, leasing, and real estate aspects of M&A.
What you'll do
- Advise clients on significant commercial development, urban renewal and infrastructure projects
- Advise clients on acquisitions and disposals of assets of all types of property classes
- Advise clients on sale and leaseback transactions
- Advise clients on tourist resorts and mixed-use developments and operation
- Advise clients on joint venture and co-ownership arrangements
- Advise clients on leasing and lease negotiation
- Advise clients on real estate aspects of M&A transactions
- Advise clients on general real estate issues such as subdivisions, enforcement of securities and financing
What we're looking for
Experience in a Real Estate team within a reputable law firm or a combination of private practice and in-house experience
Experience in the acquisition, development and sale of real estate assets
Ability to effectively manage matters autonomously and as part of a team
Willingness to participate in business development activities
Desire to learn, grow, network, and mentor others
