The role
This is a permanent, full-time Investments Lawyer role within the Funds, Superannuation & Financial Services (FSF) Team at Allens. It is for lawyers with experience in funds, superannuation, or financial services who are looking to advise leading Australian and global institutional investors on complex investment transactions.
What you'll do
Advise leading Australian and global institutional investors, including many of Australia's largest superannuation funds, in relation to their direct and indirect investments across a range of traditional and emerging asset classes
Advise clients on a range of investment structures and activities, including pooled fund investments, co-investments, funds-of-one, direct investments / JVs, capital partnerships and other closely-held fund structures into private market assets such as real estate and infrastructure, IMAs, and asset transition work
Assist superannuation and other investors in relation to regulatory and compliance issues associated with their investment activities
What we're looking for
Experience working in funds, superannuation or financial services
Experience from a leading top tier, national or international firm, or an in-house team
Background in financial services
Experience in investments or funds-related transactions and matters
Experience across the suite of private capital asset classes
Experience across both regulatory and investment work
Passion to specialise in investments work with a focus on clients in the superannuation sector
