The role
This role is for a Funds lawyer within the Funds, Superannuation & Financial Services (FSF) team. The lawyer will work on complex transactions and advise clients across various asset classes, including private equity, infrastructure, and real estate.
What you'll do
Advising blue chip Australian and international fund sponsors on the establishment of widely held funds, funds-of-one, co-investment vehicles, continuation funds, capital partnerships and IMAs
Advising leading Australian and global institutional and sovereign investors in relation to their Australian and offshore fund investments, co-investments and direct investments
Advising on fund secondary sale transactions
Assisting with the funds-related aspects of M&A matters
Assisting sponsors, superannuation and other investors in relation to regulatory and compliance issues associated with their activities, including financial services licensing
What we're looking for
Experience working in transaction work in funds, superannuation or financial services from a leading top tier, national or international firm, or an in-house team
Passion to specialise in investment funds
Specific experience in fund establishment and/or fund investments work
Experience working on transactions and providing advice to a range of clients
Background in M&A with experience in funds related transactions and matters
