The role
Paul Hastings is seeking a 1st-4th year Associate for its Antitrust Litigation practice group. This role will focus on antitrust and competition law, including investigations and litigation, and candidates can be based in their Los Angeles, San Francisco, or New York offices.
What you'll do
- Handle discovery
- Draft pretrial motions
- Manage complex cases
- Represent clients in state and federal court
- Represent clients before enforcement authorities such as the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission
What we're looking for
1-4 years of experience
Experience in antitrust and competition law, government and internal investigations, and government enforcement actions
Experience in civil antitrust litigation, including handling discovery, drafting pretrial motions, and managing complex cases
Experience representing clients in state and federal court as well as enforcement authorities such as the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission
Admitted (or eligible to be admitted) to the Bar in the jurisdiction in which they are located
Prior federal clerkship experience· nice to have
Background in economics or related subjects· nice to have
