The role
Milbank LLP is seeking a Real Estate Associate with 4-6 years of experience for their New York office. This role focuses on real estate finance, acquisitions, and joint ventures, providing comprehensive support for financings, acquisitions, sales, and bankruptcies.
What you'll do
- Provide comprehensive real estate support to corporate/project financings, acquisitions, sales, and bankruptcies
- Conduct and manage all phases of real property diligence including title review
- Negotiate and facilitate post-closing deliverables
- Draft and prepare purchase agreements, security instruments, leases and ancillary agreements
What we're looking for
4-6 years of experience as a Real Estate associate
Experience with real estate finance, acquisitions and joint ventures
Experience conducting and managing all phases of real property diligence including title review
Experience negotiating and facilitating post-closing deliverables
Experience in the drafting and preparation of purchase agreements, security instruments, leases and ancillary agreements
Strong academic credentials
Desire to work across practice groups
Previous experience required
