2-6 years of experience in structuring, documentation and negotiation of secured and unsecured financing transactions for both borrowers and lenders Experience with senior secured, mezzanine and subordinated debt transactions Experience with acquisition financings Experience with loan workouts
The role
Kirkland & Ellis seeks Debt Finance Associates with 2-6 years of experience for its Bay Area, Los Angeles, and Salt Lake City offices. This role will focus on the structuring, documentation, and negotiation of complex debt financing transactions, with a preference for candidates with leveraged finance experience.
What we're looking for
2-6 years of experience in structuring, documentation and negotiation of secured and unsecured financing transactions for both borrowers and lenders
Experience with senior secured, mezzanine and subordinated debt transactions
Experience with acquisition financings
Experience with loan workouts
Leveraged finance experience preferred
Leveraged finance experience, particularly in the context of mergers and acquisitions· nice to have
