The role
Kirkland & Ellis is seeking a Regulatory Associate with 1-3 years of experience to join its Investment Funds Group in Washington D.C. This role will focus on assisting fund sponsors with fundraising, transactions, and navigating SEC examinations and enforcement matters.
What we're looking for
1-3 years of investment funds-related regulatory experience at a global law firm
Reviewing offering materials and fund governing documents
Advising clients on compliance with applicable rules and regulations
Preparing SEC filings
Responding to examinations
Strong familiarity with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940
Admitted to practice in the District of Columbia
Familiarity with the Investment Company Act of 1940· nice to have
Familiarity with the Securities Act of 1933· nice to have
